Traveling between multiple times zones, on two different continents, 4 different airplanes, and 3 different airports all with an 8 month old child and too many suitcases took a lot out of me. That's all I can say for our travels between California and Deutschland. As for our time in California, it was nice. Busy... a little stressful... did I mention busy? We all loved the time spent with family... soaking up the California sunshine (when it cooperated)... shopping at Whole Foods (maybe a little excessively)... digging our toes into the sands of Capitola's beaches... eating fresh sea food... and introducing our little man to all his family. Really, it was wonderful.
Note: sand + diaper= not awesome.
Boardwalk, corn dogs, Fisherman's Wharf tomorrow.

It wasn't enough, but I got to spend time with this BEAUTIFUL lady.
