Mom and Dad take South Korea

It took us what felt like a long time to get to the airport. It didn't help that Chad had to stop at his favorite rest stop for coffee.
Really?
Nothing makes me more anxious than getting to an airport on time. Especially when my dog is involved.
Long story short though, we managed to find Mom and Dad but regretfully ended up having to spend three additional hours there trying to get Meatloaf out of Korean Custom's hell purgatory.
It was quite stressful to say the least and since this event transpired I have found THREE gray hairs.
I kid you not.
Even though it was a rough start to their vacation, after a couple of days spent resting they were good to go.
Mom and Dad that is. Meatloaf.... that's still up for debate.
----
Our first excursion was to Mallipo Beach for a peek at the Yellow Sea. It was a little colder than our last visit (read about it here) but a couple brave souls were willing to put their toes in the sand.
Now there are tons of restaurants that line this beach and to be completely honest, I have no clue how they stay in business when it gets cooler but we skipped the raw fish deal and instead chose a very popular Korean treat of fried chicken.
It's true my friends, they love some fried chicken.
Since I don't speak Korean and these lovely fried chicken restauranteurs didn't speak English, I pointed to a picture and it was settled.
They brought half an order of 'burn your nostrils chicken' and half an order of 'it only hurts for a minute' chicken.
It was delicious.
Then we drove home with our lips tingling while listening to two hours of Ava exercise her lungs.

I get such a kick out of these exercise machines.

Stop worrying about the potholes in the road and enjoy the journey.
